BILL COLLINS, SR. WEST ALLIS, WI As an Ultimate Packer fan, my Dad, Bill Collins, Sr., is a lifelong Wisconsin resident who has proudly supported the Packers through both victory and defeat. He considers himself truly blessed to have been a season ticket holder for decades, beginning with the Packer games at Milwaukee County stadium. In his generosity, he has taken others to games over the years, enabling those who did not have access to tickets to actually feel the pure joy of the Lambeau experience. He attended the historic 1967 Ice Bowl game and loves to recount the excitement of this legendary team in vivid detail, with the enthusiasm in his voice making it seem as though it were just played yesterday. As a West Allis bar owner, Collins (now 85 and just recently retired) participated in the annual Packer ticket drives during the 1960's, encouraging customers and other local business to purchase season tickets. With a present day waiting list in the tens of thousands, it's hard to imagine that the Packers ever needed assistance in recruiting season ticket holders! At one time, Bill Collins was the proud owner of 24 season tickets. While he was the owner of "The Colony" bar, he had visits from several prominent Packer players as well as the legendary coach, Vince Lombardi. Over the decades, there were countless fall Sunday afternoons where his bar was packed with avid Packer fans, all cheering for the green and gold. Bill Collins has attended nearly every Green Bay Packer home game for over 50 years, proudly wearing his green and gold apparel. Let's talk ULTIMATE fan here! Bill has remained a loyal and devoted fan of the Packers and has travelled with his family to playoff games in Dallas, Texas where his daughter, Patti, lives. She remains one of the many loyal "Cheesehead" Green Bay Packers fans in the midst of Cowboy country. A person could not wish for a better Dad or a more loyal and devoted Packer fan, and for that reason I hope that you recognize Wild Bill Collins, Sr. as the Ultimate Green Bay Packer fan.
